General Description:

The Siemens BDS051 is a point-type photoelectric smoke detector with a high-quality smoke maze structure and ASIC chip technology. It is designed for early detection of fire smoke in internal spaces of buildings, particularly in areas where other types of detectors cannot be used due to smoke, dust, or emitted gases during operation. The BDS051 is part of the BC80 intelligent series of fire alarm and linkage systems installed on the BDS000 mounting base.

Installation of Siemens BDS051:

The BDS051 is installed on a wall or pre-embedded junction box using the BDS detector base. The base has two mounting holes spaced 62mm apart. The detector shell is aligned with the base’s positioning pin and then rotated clockwise to secure it in place. To remove the detector, rotate it counterclockwise.
