WAGO 750-301 PROFIBUS DP/FMS Fieldbus Coupler

General Description:

The WAGO 750-301 is a PROFIBUS DP/FMS Fieldbus Coupler designed to connect the WAGO I/O SYSTEM as a slave to the PROFIBUS fieldbus. This coupler can support all I/O modules and automatically configure them to create a local process image, including analog, digital, or specialty modules.

Technical Specifications:

PROFIBUS DP/FMS 1,5 MBd

Maximum number of nodes: 96 with repeater

Maximum number of I/O points: approximately 6000 (depending on the master)

Transmission medium: Cu cable according to EN 50170

Maximum length of Fieldbus segment: 200m to 1200m (depending on the baud rate and cable)

Baud rate: 9.6kBaud to 1.5MBaud

Transmission time: typically 2.7ms (for 10 nodes; 32 Is, 32 Os per node; with 1.5MBaud and digital signals), maximum 17.9ms

Bus coupler connection: 1 x D-Sub 9; socket

Detailed Features:

1. The coupler automatically detects all connected I/O modules and creates a local process image, a mix of analog and digital modules.

2. Analog and specialty module data is sent via words and/or bytes, while digital data is sent bit by bit.

3. PROFIBUS allows storing the process image in the corresponding Master control (PLC, PC, or NC).

4. The local process image is divided into two data zones containing the data received and the data to be sent.

5. The process data can be sent via the PROFIBUS fieldbus to the PLC, PC, or NC for further processing and received from the field via PROFIBUS.

Applications of 750-301 PROFIBUS :

The WAGO 750-301 is suitable for various applications requiring field bus communication, including industrial automation, process control, and monitoring systems. It is ideal for new installations with PROFIBUS DP and can be used with other WAGO I/O modules for a customized solution.

Installation of 750-301 PROFIBUS:

The WAGO 750-301 installation connects the coupler to the WAGO I/O SYSTEM and the PROFIBUS field. The coupler is designed to be mounted on a standard D-Sub 9 socket and can be easily integrated into existing systems. The installation process should follow the guidelines provided in the WAGO manual, ensuring proper connection and configuration for optimal performance.
