Overview:

The TW-BD-5951JC is an addressable temperature sensor that provides emergency responders with accurate fire location information, outperforming conventional detectors. The 5951JC utilizes a new type of thermistor and algorithms to determine a fire alarm temperature of 57°C or to perform differential temperature alarms. This detector has advanced electronic components that process the measured smoke concentration in real-time. Supported by the advanced FlashScan protocol (U.S. Patent No. 5539389), it communicates high-speed digital smoke concentration values to the alarm controller, allowing the controller to assess whether maintenance is required for the detector.
