Siemens HMI 6AV2125-2DB23-0AX0: SIMATIC HMI KTP400F Mobile Panel

6AV2125-2DB23-0AX0 General Description

The SIMATIC HMI KTP400F Mobile features an integrated acknowledgment button, emergency stop switch, touch, key operation, a 4" widescreen TFT display, and a PROFINET interface. It is configurable with WinCC Comfort V13 SP1, including HSP. It offers integrated connection point detection functionality, allowing for direct operation on-site. This connection method aids in device setup.

There are three types of connection boxes available:

Compact Connection Box

Standard Connection Box

Advanced Connection Box

For detailed information on connection boxes, refer to "System Components of Mobile Panels" -> "Connection Boxes for 2nd Generation Mobile Panels."

For example, connection boxes can be installed at any operator station. The operator inserts the mobile panel into the desired connection box and operates it from that location. The required cable length between the panel and the connection box ranges from 2 to 25 meters. Once the task is completed, the panel can be disconnected from the connection box and used at another station. The operator panel has a maintenance-free power storage mechanism, allowing operators to continue working without restarting after reconnecting. The buffer time is up to 5 minutes.

By setting an identification number in the connection box, the location of the mobile panel can be identified, enabling location-related functions to be activated or programmed. For instance, the appropriate operating screen for the operator station will be displayed automatically.

Illuminated Emergency Stop/Stop Button

The safety-oriented mobile panel features a unique illuminated emergency stop/stop button. This button can be configured according to specific applications, offering multiple advantages:

It can be configured as a red/yellow emergency or gray stop button.

If the device is not activated, the illumination is off, and the button is not recognized as an emergency stop button.

In an inactive state, devices configured with emergency stop buttons can be placed near systems without needing to be locked according to operational guidelines.

Evaluation of Emergency Stop/Stop and Acknowledgement Buttons

Safety-related control components, emergency stop/stop buttons, and acknowledgment buttons can be evaluated in various ways:

By combining PROFIsafe with F-PLC for software evaluation.

Through fixed hardwiring in the connection box using PLC or safety relays for hardware evaluation.
